Lawrence's Road to Aqaba
There are three ways to retrace Lawrence's steps on his way to Aqaba:
By Camel:
Take a camel caravan from Wadi Rum to Aqaba (3 days and 2 nights).
The first day
You and your guide will set out with the camels to visit Lawrence Spring, where you will have a short rest. After the break you will continue the journey to visit the Little Bridge, where you will stop for lunch and for exploring the local area. After lunch you will continue with the camels to see the next place on the schedule, which is Khazali Canyon. There you will see the ancient inscriptions left by trade caravans taking the same route you are on. After this you will continue on to the Bedouin Lifestyle Camp. From there you can watch the sunset and spend the first night there.
The second day
After breakfast you will start out with the camels towards Aqaba. In the middle of the days you will have lunch and a rest of two hours. After the lunch you continue your way and in the evening your guide will stop at a nice place where you will eat your bedouin dinner and sleep under the stars.
The last day
After breakfast you will continue on your way and in the middle of the day you will have lunch. After that you will continue with the camels to a place where the taxi driver is waiting for you. The taxi driver will bring you to the centre of Aqaba.
